Benefits of Memory Care at Roseleaf

Here at Roseleaf, we understand that every dementia resident can benefit from socialization and that by using all five senses in a purposeful way each day, positive effects are achieved. Roseleaf's Memory Care Program offers activities and an atmosphere that helps to stimulate these senses, helping to reduce anxiety, improve concentration, self-esteem and alertness for our residents. Roseleaf activities are focused and our Life Enrichment Coordinators are trained in recognizing positive responses to encourage those long term memories among our residents.

    Roseleaf's Memory Care Program Includes:
  • A lifestyle with familiar routines and activities that are similar to a daily life adventure
  • Sensory-based activites that stimulate the mind and help trigger long-term memories
  • A "village" style environment with perimeter security coupled with design features that help with navigation and stress reduction
  • Within our gated community residents enjoy beautiful grounds that are perfect for healthy outdoor walks, or simply for relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors

Roseleaf is Committed to Serving the Special Needs of Individuals with Alzheimers

Roseleaf residents are making important connections to comforting memories, melodies, skills and even previous occupations on a daily basis. Life events from the past along with previous acquaintances are recalled through something as simple as a hand massage, the fragrance of a cookie baking in the oven or the scent of the tomatoes on the vines of our community garden area.

We're in agreement with the Alzheimer's Association recognizing that it's best to keep the environment positive, vibrant and healthy, providing opportunities for stimulating as many senses as possible.
